A different kind of place to learn and connect
Sound Minds Studio started with the belief that while knowledge is all around us, we truly thrive when we explore it together. We’ve built a space where curious people of all ages can try things out, ask real questions, and learn through shared experience. By blending creative activities and professional expertise with community conversation, we offer practical tools for life in a friendly, hands-on environment.

Guest Speakers & Experts
Hi! I’m Helen, a speech-language pathologist who envisioned a space where professional expertise meets community warmth. While I bring my background in brain injury, communication, and child development to the table, Sound Minds is focused on enrichment and shared learning rather than clinic goals. Our work is fueled by a love for music and a belief in the power of group connection. I am so glad you are here as we build this village together.
Our studio is built on the belief that many voices make for a richer experience. We are excited to grow our team by welcoming various guest speakers, artists, and community experts who will share their unique talents and specialized knowledge in upcoming workshops. There is always a seat at our table for new perspectives.

The heart of Sound Minds
We believe learning is about more than just downloading information; it is something you do. Whether through music, movement, or a good conversation, the goal is to explore ideas in ways that feel natural and fun. We value professional expertise, but we care just as much about curiosity and the wisdom people gain from their own lived experiences. If an idea isn’t practical enough to work in your real, messy, everyday life, it probably isn’t much use to you. We focus on small, genuine connections that carry on long after a session ends.
Sound Minds Studio is also a work in progress by design. As we grow, our workshops, guest speakers, and projects will change based on the people who show up and the ideas they bring with them. This isn't because we’re unfinished, but because we want this community to be shaped by the people who call it home.
